Responsible for managing all aspects of
ChromaDex's IT infrastructure, with one subordinate, for 2 offices 1,000
miles apart, including end user support for 70 employees, IT vendor
selection and contact, networking, COTS and internally-developed
software, hardware, MS Dynamics GP ERP, MS Dynamics CRM, Labtronics
Nexxis iLab LIMS, BI reporting, and Sarbanes-Oxley/Regulatory
compliance. Work with other departments to identify inefficient
processes and offer solutions.
• Recommended, customized and implemented MS Dynamics CRM, including
import of all data from Access and Excel.
• Migrated all business data from MS Small Business Manager to MS
Dynamics GP in 2 weeks with one other person and without the assistance
of Microsoft Support
• Continued improvements and additions to Extranet solution developed
for ChromaDex while at previous company
• Write and maintain all IT-related Sarbanes-Oxley documentation.
• Created SQL Reporting Services reports for all departments against
both ERP and CRM databases
• Identified gap in Logistics department inventory tracking procedures.
Developed a system and set of reports to identify products restocked
into incorrect bins, which previously was untracked, and corrected only
on individual basis.
• Led multi-department group from Lab and Headquarters to identify
requirements, evaluate alternatives, and choose a product and vendor for
a Laboratory Information Management System. Currently customizing and
implementing Labtronics Nexxis iLab.
• Led group to evaluate phone systems and vendor proposals and make
purchase recommendation. With vendor, implemented 2 new Avaya IP Office
phone systems in 2 locations, supporting a total of 70 users. As part of
the project, implemented Bavo Fax Server for network fax send/receive.
